William James Schifferly

William James Schifferly, 62, of Findlay passed away at 1:18 PM on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Wood County Hospital. He was born on August 20, 1959 in Harvey, Illinois to James H. and Christine (Miracle) Schifferly. He married Teresa Haugh on July 16, 1994 and she survives him. Also surviving Bill is his mother, Christine; two daughters: Shelly (Josh) Friley of Crestline, Ohio and Tracy Schifferly of Bucyrus, Ohio; two step-daughters: Angela Spears and Elizabeth Haugh; and three grandchildren: Isaac, Olivia, and Roman.Bill worked as a material handler for GVS Filtration and owned his own gunsmithing business called Bill's Gun Repair. He was also the assistant pastor at Bethel Bible Church in North Baltimore, Ohio. In his free time, Bill loved photography and computers. He enjoyed camping and being outdoors as well. A visitation for Bill will be held on Tuesday December 14, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue Findlay, Ohio 45840. The funeral service will follow, beginning at 3:00 PM, with Rodney Betts officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bill's honor to Bethel Bible Church, 350 N.
