William C. Lishawa, 92 of Findlay, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at 12:43 pm at the Fox Run Manor. Bill was born on October 15, 1928 to the late George W. and Florence M. (Spayth) Lishawa.On July 2, 1950 he married the love of his life, Doris A. Dishong; and they shared 49 years together before her passing on November 8, 1999. Surviving Bill are their sons, Randy (Christina) Lishawa and Greg (Kathy) Lishawa; and daughters-in-law, Deb Lishawa and Cathy Lishawa. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Chad Lishawa, Adam Lishawa, Tristen Conrad, Chrisopher Lishawa, Carolyn LeVally and Morgan Lishawa; and five great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by sons Jeff, Jerry and Steve.Bill's education traveled from Miami University to The Ohio State University and reached Bowling Green State University where he received his Masters in business. He first was employed with RCA in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and returned to Findlay with them before his employment with Marathon Oil Company as a computer programmer. He then opened his own business as William C. Lishawa CPA, which now is doing business as Lishawa CPA, Ltd. in Findlay.He loved the sport of golf and held the Lishawa Invitational each year on the Friday before Labor Day. He also had a passion for photography, and won the Best of Show at the Hancock County Fair. He was a member of the Findlay Masonic Lodge #227, and was a sponsor of the Cub and Boy Scouts. He also coached Little League for several years.Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday October 9, 2021 at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 4540. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. following visitation at the funeral home, with Pastor Robert Tansill officiating.
