Wanda Kathryn Beagle, 91 of Findlay, went home to be with her Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ, at 8:49 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at her residence. Wanda was born on May 7, 1933 to the late Ardis and Martha Gladys (Watkins) Little in Auglaize County, Ohio. She was one of five children and her sister Judy (Joe) McClanahan survives in Grove City, Ohio. Wanda was preceded in death by three siblings Phyllis (Herb) Warye, Herb Little and Lester Little. She married Clifford G. Beagle on May 27, 1951 together they were blessed with 6 beautiful, healthy children, five of which survive; Rosemary Gillam of Jenera, Ohio; Rosalee Saltz of Bluffton, Ohio; John (Deb) Beagle of Mt. Blanchard, Ohio; Jane (John) Elledge of Arlington, Ohio; and Charles (Karla) Beagle of Findlay. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren; Andrew (Mandie) Beagle, Michelle (Nathan) Courtad, Levi (Alishia) Beagle, Travis (Nicole) Beagle, Lyle (Erika) Beagle, Becky (Joe) Antoun, Shelly (Andy) Rose, David Saltz, Nathan (Kady) Elledge, Nicole (Matt) Sleasman, Shelby (Nathan) Higbie, Josh (Madison) Elledge, Jodi Rickle, Chad Beagle, Wendi (Jason) Morey and 32 great grandchildren and 4 great great grand children.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Clifford on June 1, 1999, a son: Larry Beagle, two sons-in-law, Daniel Saltz, and Jerry Gillam and a grandson, Joseph Allen “Joe” Saltz.
Wanda was a 1951 graduate of Zanesfield Local High School. She loved her family very much and was a “stay at home” mom when they were small. Homemade meals were her specialty, being a busy farmer’s wife they had many picnics in the farm fields. Wanda was an accomplished embroiderer and
made many gifts for friends and family through the years. Poetry was a passion for Wanda and believed her poems were inspired by God. She worked in Brinkman’s cannery for over 40 years, cared for the cemeteries in Eagle Township for 10 years, worked as a housekeeper for the Hancock County Home for 3 years and was a cook for the Arlington Good Samaritan Nursing Home for 1 year. Wanda was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church for over 50 years. She loved being with her children, grandchildren and extended family.
Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024 at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the funeral home with Elder Steve Taylor and Elder Tom Pitney officiating.. Burial will take place at the Bishop Cemetery, Eagle Township, Hancock County.
