Treva Clark Obituary

Treva Elizabeth Clark, 94 of Findlay, passed away at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.She was born on October 21, 1926 in Orange Township, Hancock, County, Ohio to the late Edward and Lillian (Marquart) Kempf. Treva was married to Charles L. "Chuck" Clark on June 15, 1944 and they enjoyed 66 years of marriage together until his passing on October 13, 2010. Treva is survived by her son, Gary L. Clark of Findlay, a sister-in-law, Wilma Kempf of Bluffton; a niece, Valeria De Stefano; and nephews, Larry Kempf and Ron Kempf. She was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Kempf, and two sisters, Edith Staley and Vera Budd. Treva was a homemaker and had been employed at Findlay City Schools food services. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and creating craft items for craft shows. Treva was a member of Powell Memorial United Methodist Church and the Ladies Aide Society and Friendly Bible Class of the church, and was a member of the former Sigma Circle Child Conservation League.Treva graduated from Mt. Cory High School in 1944. She had attended a one room country school during the first four years of her schooling. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. immediately following the visitation at the funeral home with Pastor Hugh Bowland officiating. Interment will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery, east of Findlay.
