Timothy "Day" Caton Sr., 64, of Urbandale, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at MercyOne West Lakes in West Des Moines, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, OH 45840. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, 617 West Main Cross Street, Findlay, OH 45840. Burial will be in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a later designation.Tim was born on May 26, 1957 to Bill and Veronica (Dayteen) Caton in Bluffton, OH. He graduated from Findlay High School in 1975. Tim married Jodi Karr on September 20, 2003 in Toledo, OH. For most of his life, Tim worked as a car salesman. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Serra Club.In his free time, Tim enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles. He liked going to car shows to look at all of the neat classic cars. He loved to watch and cheer on his Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Overall, his family was the most important part of his life. He absolutely adored his grandchildren and spending as much time as possible with them.Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Veronica Caton; brothers, William, James and Kevin Caton; and sister, Jane Ann Dean.He is survived by his wife, Jodi; children, Timothy "Day" (Holiday) Caton Jr., Bill Caton, Michael (Jill) Caton, Sarah (Roy) Bryant, Patrick Caton, Matthew Caton, Elizabeth Caton, and Chloe Caton; brothers, Larry and Delos Caton; sister, Beverly Jean Caton; and many grandchildren.Online condolences may be left at www.kirkpatrickbehnke.com.
