Thomas Lee Morrison

Thomas Lee Morrison, 94 of Findlay, Ohio passed away at 7:20 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the Bridge Home Hospice Care Center in Findlay.  Tom was born on November 4, 1928, in Findlay, Ohio to Donovan and Kathryn (Woods) Morrison. He married Elizabeth Ione “Susie” Cogley on May 2, 1954 and she survives.

Tom was a graduate of Findlay High School and the Coyne Electrical School in Chicago, Illinois. He was owner/operator of Morrison Electric from 1960 to 2004 when he retired.

Tom served in the United States Navy onboard the USS Robert H. McCard ship from 1948-1952.  He was an avid woodworker and a licensed pilot.

Tom is survived by one son, Michael L. (Janet) Morrison of Rawson; three grandsons Preston (Allison), of Findlay; Ryan (Kimberly) of Washington Court House; and Samuel (Jamie) of Raymond, Ohio.  Also surviving are four great grandchildren; Maxwell, Caleb, Hailey and Parker Morrison.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Mildred M. Morrison and two brothers, Jerome L. Morrison and Dick W. Morrison.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. Tom’s funeral will begin 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Gregg Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery with graveside rites by the Hancock Veterans Memorial Squad.
