Obituary

Thomas John Griffin, 68, of Findlay passed away at 5:45pm on Monday, July 4, 2022 at the Heritage. Tom was born on July 19, 1953 to the late Alfred and F. Lorraine (Peters) Griffin in Findlay. He married Barbara Cupp in 1973, they later divorced and she survives, now Barbara Kodor. In 1971 Tom graduated from Findlay High School and he attended Hocking College. He then worked for Village Green for 20 some years, and later retired from the City of Findlay. He is survived by his daughter, Kim (Alberto T.) Hamilton; son, Mark S. (Amanda L.) Griffin; sister, Bonnie J. (Scott) Curry of Salem, South Carolina; grandchildren, Karson, Adelaide, Jade, Piper, Madeleine, Brandon, Brookelynn (RJ) Donaldson; great grandchildren, Oliver and Marcellyn Donaldson, and several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his brother Ronald J. Griffin. His hobbies included gun collecting, target shooting and being outdoors. He loved being with his friends, solving the world's problems. Tom was known for his firm hand shakes. He really enjoyed his vehicles and going for car rides.Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 4-8pm at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, with the rosary being prayed at 7:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday July 8, 2022 at 10am at St. Michael the Archangel Downtown Church, 617 West Main Cross St. Findlay, Ohio, with Father Peter Grodi, celebrant, will burial will be private.
