Roger W. Romer

Roger W. Romer, 88, of Findlay, passed away on Saturday, February 22,

2025 at his residence. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late

Lawrence and Mary Romer. Roger married Emajean Bossung

in 1962, together they enjoyed 62 years of marriage, and she survives.

Roger is also survived by three daughters; Lisa (Logan) Welch, Ann Romer, and Meg (Scott)

Butler, a son; Thomas (Christina) Romer, a son-in-law; Phillip Harrell, 12 grandchildren and

11 great grandchildren, two brothers; Lawrence Romer and Michael (Margaret) Romer and

a sister; Colleen Slager.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter; Lori Harrell, his brother, Donald

Romer, brother-in-law, Robert Slager, and sisters-in-law, Mary Romer, Carol Romer and

Janet Romer.

Roger was a 1954 graduate of Findlay High School and served his country proudly in the

United States Army. Following his service, Roger graduated from The International Business

College in Fort Wayne, Indiana and Findlay College, in Findlay, Ohio.

 Roger retired from Dow Chemical and formerly owned and operated Final Touch Financial

Services.

He was an active member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish and the Knights of Columbus Council 957.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30am to 11:00am on Tuesday, March 4,

2025 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 750 Bright Road, Findlay, Ohio 45840. A

Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday with Fr. Adam Hertzfeld

officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.

Hospice,15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
