Phyllis Jean Williamson

Phyllis “Jean” Williamson, 78, of Findlay, passed away at 12:25 pm on August 17, 2023 at The Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, Ohio.  She was born on February 3, 1945 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Howard and Mabel E. (Thompson) Rickle.

Jean married Jerry Williamson on July 28,1963, and he preceded her in death on June 30, 2022.  

She is survived by 2 children, Kevin (Patti) Williamson of Berea, Ohio and Sherry (Keith) Wright of Findlay; one grandson, Dakota (Kourtney) Wright and one great-grandson, Zayn Wright. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Rickle. 

Jean was a graduate of Findlay High School Class of 1963. She was a rural mail carrier for the U.S.P.S. for 30 years and she was a homemaker. She was also a member of the  Findlay Grace Brethren Church.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 21, 2023 officiated by her son, Kevin Williamson at Findlay Grace Brethren Church, 209 Lexington Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. 

Memorials may be made to Findlay Grace Brethren Church.
