Pauline L. "Paulie" (Klickman) Streicher

Pauline L.  “Paulie” Klickman Streicher, 90 of Findlay, passed away at 12:05 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Birchaven Village. She was born on November 17, 1934, in Colfax, Washington to the late August and Gertrude (Moews) Klickman.  Paulie was preceded in death by her two sisters, Gertrude “Trudy” Clay and Mary Ruth Buchheit.

Paulie’s one desire was to become a registered nurse as long as she could remember, and she did achieve that goal, graduating from Toledo Hospital School of Nursing. During her nursing career she experienced the thrill of delivering many babies. 

Shortly after her nursing graduation she met and married James L. “Jim” Streicher. Marrying Jim opened a whole new life for Paulie.  Automobile racing gave her a whole new family, and she was surrogate mother to a very special few, and “mama Paulie” to many young‘uns, North to South and East to West. Paulie and Jim won three National Championships in the United States of American Midget Division. Racing was a way of life for Paulie and her family. 

In 1969 Paulie and Jim went into business, operating Streicher’s Quickprint until they sold it in 2000. Paulie also was the welcoming agent to new residents at Birchaven where she resided.

Paulie and Jim were blessed with four children, Mike (deceased), Kathy (Mike) Fritz, Maureen (Jon, deceased) Stansbery, and Pat.  Grandchildren; Scott, Ann, Christine, Ross, Samantha, Evan, James, Rich, Jack and Drew, and great grandchildren; Aliza, Jovie, Asa, Hayden, and Oakley.

Jim preceded her in death on July 9, 2011. 

Visitation will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life for Paulie, officiated by Chaplain Linda Davison on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio, Private burial will take place in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Location of lunch will be announced after the Celebration of Life.
