Patricia Alice Weygandt, 90, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on September 13, 2021. Born February 26, 1931 in Lima, Ohio, to Amos and Martha Copeland, she completed the family, along with Sterling, Gordon and Arline (Milton Schober), all deceased. She married the love of her life, Joseph Arthur Weygandt, August 13, 1949. They celebrated 62 years of marriage until Dad passed in 2012. They raised five children in south Toledo, Ohio.Patricia lived life to the fullest. She was an artist who enjoyed sharing her talent and meeting with fellow artist friends at the Evans Center Art Guild. She enjoyed playing the organ and she loved playing with her dulcimer group friends. Patricia treasured her time as a nursing home activity director in Toledo. She read hundreds of books voraciously. She served in so many capacities in all of her chapters of life. She volunteered in her church, as her faith was of utmost priority. Mom led scouting programs for her children. Patricia was ham radio operator N8XMG. She traveled throughout all 50 states and to many countries before settling in LaRue, Ohio, and lastly in Grove City.As matriarch to our family, she will be greatly missed by her children Jay (Virginia) of Springfield, Dale (Denise) of Grove City, Lee (Catherine) of Findlay, Connie Bush (Nathan) of Homestead, Florida and Dean (Trudi) of Toledo. Her grandchildren will also miss her dearly, Alex Weygandt, Christopher (Traci) Weygandt, David (Elizabeth Yorba) Weygandt, Douglas (Ashley) Weygandt, Anthony (Ashlie Dabbs) Weygandt, Julia Weygandt, Steven, Joanna and Rebeca Bush, James and Alice Weygandt, along with great-grandchildren Andrew, Matthew and Callie.She is survived by sister-in-law Ruth Copeland (Sterling), as well as many close nieces and nephews.She will continue to serve as her remains will be donated to The Ohio State University for medical research.Patricia's wishes were for a celebration of life at her Bethel Lutheran Church, 4501 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio, October 2, 2021, with live stream for COVID safety. Family will receive friends in the narthex an hour before the 11:30 a.m. service. Masks and social distancing requested.Memorials may be made to Mid-Ohio Food Collective, P.O.
