Patricia Rae Brown, 90, of Findlay passed away at 7:30pm, Wednesday evening, September 25, 2024 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, Ohio. Patti was born to the late James Park and Mildred Lauren (Walker) Metzgar in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She married Robert Asa Brown and he preceded her in death in April 2004.
Patti is survived by her two sisters; Gail (Barry) Cuppett of Salix, Pennsylvania and Karen (“Doc”) Cooper of Johnstown, Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved.
Patti was a true entrepreneur. Current owner of the Carriage House Plaza, Patti was best known for operating Patti Rae’s, an exclusive women’s apparel Boutique in Findlay, Ohio for over 50 years. Additionally, she was employed by The Hello Shoppe, a former Hallmark Store in Findlay.
She was a member of Howard United Methodist Church. Patti always enjoyed people and sharing her experiences with those with whom she came into contact. A mentor to many, Patti was well respected in our community.
As per Patti’s wishes, there will be no services. Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home has assisted the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Patti’s name to the Howard United Methodist Church, 220 Cherry St. Findlay, Ohio 45840.
