Nancy Jane (Sager) Dillon passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born January 18,1935 in Custar, OH to Ernest and Ethel (Feehan) Sager. She grew up in Deshler, OH. She attended St. Mary's of the Springs College and graduated with a degree in Education from the University of Dayton where she met her future husband, Joseph L Dillon. They were married June 14, 1958. They eventually moved to Findlay, OH and together they raised five children. Timothy, Susan, Patrick, Michael and Megan.

Nancy spent the majority of her teaching career at St. Michael the Archangel School, where she was a lifetime and faithful member. She served as a Eucharistic Minister and was involved with several prayer groups and church activities.

Our mother was the heart of our family. Her love was a boundless source of warmth. Our home was always filled with laughter, comfort and great conversation. She was a pillar of strength, grace and unconditional love.

Nancy was involved with several local groups, clubs, and charities. She and Joe loved to vacation and spend time at their winter home in Florida golfing and being surrounded by friends and family.

Nancy's departure will be deeply felt by a community she impacted profoundly through her unwavering kindness, sparkling wit, and boundless generosity. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and heartfelt belief in the goodness of others.

Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph, daughter Susan (Dillon) Reitman, brother James Sager and her parents. The family she leaves behind to cherish her memory includes: Timothy (Pam) Dillon, Patrick (Justine) Dillon, Michael (Lynn) Dillon, Megan Dillon, son-in-law John Reitman; grandchildren: Joseph and Matthew Dillon, Alex, James and Thomas Dillon, Cameron and Patrick Dillon, Lauren Reitman. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Janet Sager, nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.

The family will be forever grateful to our Mother's two amazing and angelic caregivers, Sheila McKinstry and Janice Miller. They devoted the last two years loving and caring for our Mother. We are also grateful to the kind and loving Eucharistic Ministers Beth, Karon and Grace who faithfully visited our Mom every week.

Please join us in celebrating the life of Nancy J Dillon a strong and caring woman who leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family, friends, and the entire community. She will be profoundly missed.
