Mary Ellen (Hector) Hamilton

Mary Ellen Hamilton, 93, of Findlay passed away at 2:12am, Friday, May 17, 2024 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center of Findlay. She was born February 21, 1931 to the late, Clarence and Althea (Fairchild) Hector in Leipsic, Ohio. Mary Ellen was married to Howard R. Hamilton August 26, 1950, and he preceded her in death on November 15, 2019.

Mary Ellen is survived by their children, her 3 daughters; Diane (Mark) Fuess of Bedford, Texas, Cheryl (Bob) May of Rawson, Ohio, and Pam (Mike) Conley of Mount Blanchard, Ohio, 4 granddaughters; Nikki Davis, Megan James, Amber Launder and Heather Beutler, and 10 great grandchildren; Ryder, Zoe, and Lyla Davis, Luke and Lacey James, Isaac and Emmett Launder, Greyson and Hadley Herzog, and Myra Frey.

She spent her lifetime helping her husband farm and raising her children and investing her time growing her family. Mary Ellen loved watching birds, and taking her granddaughters on wildlife excursions looking for eagles, and attending their many sporting events.

Visitation will be held for family and friends from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Ave., Findlay, Ohio, 45840.  Mary Ellen’s funeral will begin at 2:00pm, also at the funeral home, with Rev. Ruth Browne officiating.  Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
