Mary Louise Whiteleather

Mary Louise (Horning) Whiteleather, 93, passed away peacefully, Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Brookdale Senior Living in Findlay, Ohio.Mary Lou was born September 24, 1928 in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of Arthur and Hilda Horning, the youngest of eight children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved sister, Helen Radler, and her six dear brothers, Harold, Vincent, Virgil, Arthur Jr., Francis and Paul.Mary Lou was also preceded in death by her devoted husband of 35 years, Wayne B. Whiteleather, on January 10, 1986. She is survived by her two sons, Larry (Denise) of Findlay and Thomas (Tami) of Las Vegas, her three grandchildren Erin, Allison and Carly, and three great-grandchildren, Carter, Ava and Ethan.She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Salem, Ohio. She was a Salem resident most of her life until moving to Brookdale in Findlay to be closer to family.The family wishes to express their profound gratitude for the patient, gentle and compassionate care Mary Lou received as an assisted living resident at Brookdale during her final couple of years.There are no services planned at the present time; a private memorial service will be planned at a later date. Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery, Salem, Ohio.
