Mary R. Wall

Mary R. Wall, 94, of Findlay, passed away at 1:28 A.M., Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Sunrise Assisted Living. She was born an identical twin with Martha R. Lashells on June 20, 1927 in Carey, Ohio, to the late Raymond and Viola (Brodman) Orians. On April 15, 1950, she married Robert (Bob) J. Wall, in a double wedding ceremony, along with her twin, Martha and her husband, Ted Lashells. Bob preceded her in death, on March 21, 2009.Mary was a loving and dedicated mother to their six children: Michael, deceased, (Nancy) of Flemington, New Jersey; Thomas (Laura) Wall of Raleigh, North Carolina; Marie (Scott) Williams of Overland Park, Kansas; Nancy (James) Hanson; Susan (Thomas) Lause of Findlay, Ohio; and John (Susan) Wall of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially if that happened on a golf course. We will always remember her macaroni and cheese, her affinity for a в??double with' from Wilsons, her freezer stocked with Dietsch's ice cream bars, and helping her to make mocha cakes for the holidays. Also surviving are her thirteen grandchildren: Whitney Wagner, Brandon Wall, Kyle Wall, Carter Wall, Tighe Wall, John Wall, Annie Gault, Peter Williams, Carolyn Williams, Allison Shock, Emily Henley, Michael Lause, and Alice Wall. Surviving are fourteen great grandchildren: Hayes, Rhys, and Maeve Wagner, Frances, Iris, Mackenzie, Avery, Claire, Reina, and Eri Wall, Molly and Poppy Gault, Charlotte Shock, and Caroline Henley. Mary is survived by her twin sister Martha Lashells, who is the last of eleven children.Mary was a graduate of Carey High school, and went on to study at Mercy School of Nursing in Toledo, Ohio, where she became an RN. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish, and a church and community volunteer.Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio, 45840, with a Rosary Service at 6:00 P.M. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 617 West Main Cross Street, Findlay, Ohio, with Fr. Adam Hertzfeld officiating.
