Mary Zoe (Copus) Simon

Mary Zoe Simon, 99 of Findlay, passed away at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Fox Run Nursing Home. Mary was born on September 18, 1923 in Bloomville, Ohio to the late Trenton Oscar and Mabel (Tinney) Copus.

Mary married Leo Edward Simon on November 4, 1940 and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1998. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Lee (David) Marion of Redmond, Washington; and Patricia J. (Fred W.) Arnold of Findlay; five grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren .

She was preceded in death by her son, William Trenton Simon of North Baltimore, Ohio; one grandson, William Duane Simon; and three granddaughters Jeanie Robeson, Joanne Powell and Correna Simon, as well as four sisters, June Brookman, Marjorie McFarland, Pauline German and Esther Reynolds.

Mary was a homemaker and a member of Salem Cass United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held for family and friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, with a funeral service following at 2:00pm, officiated by Rev. Matthew Blau and Rev. Ben Lowell at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
