Marvin Tuttle Obituary

Marvin “Marv” Dale Tuttle, 72, of Findlay, OH went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 13, 2023, while working on the family farm. Marvin was born in Bluffton, Ohio on January 11, 1951, the only child born to Dale D. and Deloris J. (Core) Tuttle who preceded him in death. He graduated from Liberty Benton High School in 1969 and on November 22, 1969, he married his high school sweetheart, Linda K. Holyman, and she survives. They celebrated 53 wonderful years together and were blessed with three children who also survive: Mathew D. (Jennifer) Tuttle, Melissa C. (Matt) Lenhart, and Marcus D. (Athena) Tuttle. He was also deeply loved by eight grandchildren: Kendra (Ian) Moser, Clayton (Olivia) Lenhart, Bryce (Haley) Tuttle, Alexa Lenhart, Mason Tuttle, Aubrey Lenhart, Gabriella Tuttle, and Teegan Tuttle, in addition to one great-grandchild, Lucy Tuttle. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Doug Saul, sister-in-law Kathy Saul, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Katelyn Tuttle.

Marvin enjoyed being a lifelong farmer and was able to work alongside his parents, children, and grandchildren on the family farm. In high school, he was an avid member of the FFA, where he was the FFA President and earned his State FFA Degree. Later in life, he had served as the Hancock County Fair Board President, Ohio Farm Bureau - Hancock County Chapter President, as well as a Board member of Legacy Farmers Cooperative where he served for many years. Marvin also served his community as a past member of the Blanchard Twp. Fire Department. He was a devoted member of Good Shepherd Church of Benton Ridge, where he served in a variety of ways and loved The Lord.

Marvin cherished being with family above all else. He was always attending sporting events for his grandchildren and enjoyed traveling with his wife, family and friends all around the country. He helped his kids and grandkids at the fair every year and was always there to watch them show livestock. Marvin will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
