Martha L. Smith

Martha L. Smith, 98 of Findlay, died at 3:56 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Birchaven Village. Martha was born in Seneca County, Ohio on September 22, 1922 to the late Henry and Victoria (Pahl) Kinn. She moved to Findlay in 1938 from Seneca County.Martha married Harry Nuhfer and they were divorced. She later married Ray M. Smith on May 21, 1960 and he preceded her in death on December 13, 1995. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Nuhfer in May of 2010, and a stillborn son, Robert Lee Nuhfer in 1955. She was also preceded in death by seven brothers, Ted, Cletus, Cyrill, Jerry, Raymond, Herman, Vernon, and three sisters, twins Mary Magdalene and, Mary Catherine Kinn , and Rita Reinhart.Martha is survived by a daughter-in-law Debra Nuhfer, four grandsons, two step grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one step great grandchild and a brother, Norman Kinn of Tiffin. She was formerly employed at National Automotive Fibers, Findlay Industries, and Miller's Kitchenette. Martha attended St. Paul's United Methodist Church and St. Michael Catholic Church in Findlay, Ohio.Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. The funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home beginning at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Knollcrest Gardens near Arcadia, Ohio, next to Ray M.
