Mark H. Duffy, 74, of Findlay, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born on August 28, 1951, in Ravenna, Ohio, to the late Marvin and Ruth (Michener) Duffy. Mark married Mary Holsten, June 26, 1976, and she survives.
Also surviving Mark are two children, Mitch (Jen) Duffy and Megan Duffy as well as three grandchildren, Connor, Benjamin and Alexandria.
Mark graduated from Findlay High School in 1969 and Union College in 1973. He did his graduate work through Mount Saint Joseph, Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo. Mark retired after 33 years as a teacher at Whittier Primary and Wilson Vance Elementary Schools in Findlay, Ohio. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
He enjoyed fishing, Michigan Football, Cleveland sports teams, spending time with his family and loved taking drives with his dog Winger, exploring the town they both called home.
Visitation for friends and family will be from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue. A funeral will follow at the funeral home at 10:00am on Thursday, October 16, 2025, officiated by Chaplain Kathy Archer. Burial will be private at Maple Grove Cemetery.
