Marilyn J. Moore, 75 of Findlay, passed away at 4:56 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born on August 25, 1950, in Findlay to Robert C. and Betty J. (Hauman) Houser. Her mother survives, and her father preceded her in death on March 11, 2016.
Marilyn married Donald Ray Moore on December 22, 1999, and he preceded her in death on April 30, 2006. Marilyn is survived by her sister, Sandra Caudle of Findlay; a step-grandchild, Stephanie Moore; nephews, Rodney and Randy Caudle; and a grandniece; Shea, and two grandnephews; Jace and Dyllan Caudle and a great-grandniece; Larkyn. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Donnie Moore, and her beloved Jack Russell terrier, “Bandit.”
In service to her country, Marilyn reached the rank of Sergeant in the Unites States Army, serving as a financial specialist from August 1977 through July 1981. One of her great pastimes was completing Word Search puzzles and she attended Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Findlay.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Tuesday, 26, 2026, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840. Remaining at the funeral home, the funeral service will begin at 1:00pm, officiated by Pastor Jacinda Jones. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery with full military rites by the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Humane Society and SPCA of Hancock County, 4550 Fostoria Ave, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
