Marilyn Joan Hickerson

Marilyn Joan Hickerson, 62, of Fostoria, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. She was born March 5, 1958 in Tiffin, Ohio to the late William and Shirley (Guthrie) Lee. On March 25, 1985, she married Ronald L. Hickerson, and he preceded her in death on May 5, 2007.Surviving Marilyn is her daughter, Amanda Hickerson of Fostoria; and bonus children, Lacey (Greg) Cornette and Ron (Robyn) Hickerson, Jr. Also surviving are siblings, Craig (Lori) Robbins, Steve Robbins, and Christy Robbins, all of Fostoria; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, George Lee and a sister, Sheri Mathews.She retired from Whirlpool. She was an avid dog rescuer, loved to read books and going to garage sales. She was a mother to all, and a wonderful friend to everyone who knew her.Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday following visitation.
