Margaret "Peggy" A Corbin

Margaret A. "Peggy" Corbin, 100, of Findlay passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at Birchaven Heights with her loving family by her side. Peggy was born to the late F. Homer and Eunice (Ferry) Roush on September 11, 1920 in Marshall, Illinois. On October 14, 1939, she married Paul E. Corbin at St. Mary's Rectory, Marshall, Illinois; and he preceded her in death on October 24, 2007. Peggy and Paul had moved to Findlay in May 1955. Surviving Peggy are their children, Ann Lee (Don) West of Bellevue, Ohio, Terry Paul Corbin of Maple Grove, Minnesota, and Patricia S. Bastic of Appleton, Wisconsin. Also there are nine grandchildren surviving: Lee Ann (Terry) Hager, Kevin (Tricia), Brian and Christopher (Chanda) West; Leasa (Michael) Pratt; Brent (Elizabeth) and Jason Bastic; Amy (Mike McGinn) Bastic; and Kimberly (Andre') Morris. In addition there are 13 great-grandchildren surviving: Amanda, Sean, Cashel, Connelly, Carter, Velouria, Sydney, Elliot, Chloe, Ethan, Alice, Andraya and Robert, as well as four great-great-grandchildren: Donovan, Breanna, McKenna, Aiden. Many nieces and nephews also survive Peggy. Peggy was preceded in death by sisters, Mary C. (Feldon) Hammond; Theresa (Al) Connerton; Brother, William Roush; daughter-in-law, Tonna Corbin; granddaughter Zoey Combs and Paul's siblings. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, their Rosary Altar Society, Leo Councilettes, Catholic Ladies of Columbia, ministry of Praise, Eucharistic Minister to shut-ins and volunteer with The Parkinson Foundation of NW Ohio. Peggy enjoyed gardening, genealogy, bird watching and knitting (sending over 100 sweaters and hats to "Knit for Kids"). The family would like to thank the staff at Birchaven and the Bridge Hospice nurses for their tender care of our Mom. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021 at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 750 Bright Road, Findlay, Ohio 45840 with Rev.
