Linda M. (Jones) Shimp

Linda M. Shimp, 77, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born to the late Roy and Marie (Harvey) Jones, September 28, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan. Linda married David Shimp January 1, 1967 and he preceded Linda in death in 2014.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Karrie (Kevin) Sullivan, and Allecia Richards and by her grandchildren Austyn and Alec Richards, and Fianna and Liam Sullivan.

After graduating high school, she went on to Bowling Green State University to receive her bachelor’s degree in business administration and human resources. Linda worked as the lead in Human Resources department of YSK in Chillicothe, OH.

Linda was a former Worthy Grand Matron of the Rawson Eastern Star.

A private graveside service will be held at Palmyra Township Cemetery, Portage County, Ohio. 

Memorial donations may be made, in Linda’s name, to the Cancer Research Institute.
