Linda Altman Obituary

Linda Sue Altman, 73, of rural Arlington, Ohio passed away at 7:12 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at The Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born to the late Claire and Bernieda (Knepley) Fiser on August 25, 1948 in Napoleon, Ohio. On August 29, 1971 Linda married Gary R. Altman, and he survives. Linda attended and graduated from McClure High School. She worked at Marathon Oil Company for five years out of high school. She later assisted her husband, Gary, and helped manage their dental office for 49 years.. Linda is also survived by a son, David R. (Alaina) Altman of Arlington; a daughter, Susan R. Wittenmyer of Rawson; brother, Thomas C. (Lynne) Fiser of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire; sister, Mary Jo Rohrbaugh of Napoleon; grandchildren, Ava and Evan Altman, Tobey and Laurey Wittenmyer, and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother-in-law Dave Rohrbaugh. Linda loved family camping trips to the Smokies, gospel music and visiting Amish country. Since their 25th wedding anniversary, she and Gary would celebrate by spending several days in Holmes County. Her real love though, was spending time with her grandchildren and doing things for them. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2022 from noon to 2 p.m. at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday July 6, 2022 at the funeral home, with Rev. Gregg Fox officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
