Julie F. Teeple, 80, of Findlay passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 6, 2022, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on November 15, 1941, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the late James and Vivian (White) Favorite and they preceded her in death, along with her husband Richard D. Teeple, whom she married on June 5, 1965. Surviving is a sister, Janie Kiggins, a daughter Laura (Jeff) Boll and a son Darin Teeple. Julie is also survived by three grandchildren, Maclain and Tatum Teeple and Ally Boll, whom she loved dearly.Julie graduated from Fort Wayne South Side High School and then Purdue University, where she met her soulmate, Richard Teeple. Upon graduation from Purdue, Julie worked at Indiana Bell in Indianapolis and then as a social worker in Cincinnati, supporting her family while Richard attended the University of Cincinnati law school. Upon arrival in Findlay, Julie became a dedicated volunteer to many organizations and causes in the community. She cherished the community of Findlay and everything it had to offer. She loved high school and college sporting events, specifically Liberty-Benton and the University of Findlay athletics. Over the past several years she was unable to attend games, but always had the radio on to listen. She enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed gardening very much. She had many beloved friends and loved running into someone she knew at the grocery store. If you knew Julie, those conversations could last a while. She was a great listener and was interested in learning about every person she had conversation with. She loved spending time at the family's lake house in Coldwater, Michigan, sitting on the porch looking over the water. The 4th of July was always a big event for the family at the lake house.Over the past 14 years, Julie has fought through numerous medical issues that limited her physical abilities but not her mental abilities. She was a fighter and never gave up on anything. Her positive attitude allowed her to make the most of her final years. Julie's dedication to her family, especially to her husband Richard, was inspirational to many. She worried about others before herself up to the very end.Visitation will be held June 18, 2022 from 3-4pm for both Richard and Julie at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow.Memorials may be made to Bridge Home Health Care and Hospice.Arrangements have been entrusted to Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, Findlay and online condolences can be shared by visiting www.kirkpatrickbehnke.com.
