Julia Louise Hover

Julia L. Hover (Judy), age 88, died at The Laurels of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, on June 16, 2021. Born on July 4, 1932 in Findlay, Ohio to Avery and Julia Archable, she graduated from Findlay High School in 1950. She married Herbert Hover in 1950. Herb died in 2011.Judy was a homemaker, raising 5 children. She was a talented vocalist and enjoyed choral music, classical music and opera. She and Herb moved to Adrian, Michigan, in 1980, where she worked until retirement in the Admissions Department at Adrian College. She is survived by children Cindy (Jim) Bay of Gallup, New Mexico; William (Janet) Hover of Avondale Estates, Georgia; Jane (John) Muller of Johnstown, Ohio; and Julie Hover (Peter Paul) of Eatonville, Washington. Also surviving are grandchildren Jessie Bay (Paul Charlton), Ross Bay, Jack Muller (Angela), Rachel Wilson (Joe), Ciana Hover, and James Hover; and seven great-grandchildren. Judy was preceded in death by her son Michael and her brother, Charles Archable.She enjoyed many trips with family. She was a faithful letter-writer to all her children and grandchildren throughout their years away from home. She blessed all of her family and friends with her loving patience and care.Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, or to Washington's National Park Fund.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
