Judith E. (Wise) Bell

Judith E. Bell, 81, of Findlay, passed away at 2:57am Sunday, March 2, 2025 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. She was born to the late Edwin E. and C. June (Breitigam) Wise on May 7, 1943 in Findlay, Ohio. Judy married Alvin R. Bell June 25, 1988, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Findlay, Ohio, where she was a member for most of her life. Al preceded Judy in death May 25, 2022.

She is survived by her children; Anthony (Pamela) Musone of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Timothy (Karen) Musone of Findlay, Ohio, David (Erica) Bell of Berkeley, California, her brothers, Steven Wise and David (Teresa) Wise and a sister LuAnn (John) Kaylor, four grandchildren, Madison Bell, Ayleah, James and Jacob Musone and several nephews and  nieces.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Judy was preceded in death by a son Richard Bell.

Judy was a 1961 graduate of Findlay High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University and Master’s degree from Bowling Green State University. Judy spent her 30-year career teaching in the Findlay City School system, all at Lincoln Elementary School, retiring in 2003.

Judy was a member of Altrusa of Findlay, where she held many offices and recently received an Emeritus Award.

Following retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at the Mazza Museum and the Hancock Historical Museum.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, March 8, 2025, also at the funeral home. It was Judy’s wishes to be cremated and Maple Grove Cemetery will be her final resting place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Hancock Historical Museum, 422 West Sandusky Street, Findlay, Ohio 45840, or Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, 480 West Dussel Drive, Suite 140, Maumee, Ohio 43537.
