John L Thomas

 John L. Thomas, 59, of Findlay, passed away in his home Monday, January 2, 2023 at 7:37am. He was born, in Findlay, May 12, 1963 to the late John E. and Delores Earlene (Hingson) Thomas. He married Patricia Sapp on April 5, 2008 and Patricia survives.

John is also survived by a daughter Evelyn Mae Thomas, a sister, Melinda (John) Mazey and two nieces, Amanda (Justin) Stahl and Laura Mazey, all of Findlay, Ohio.

John attended Findlay High School and graduated in 1981. Following graduation, he began his road to become a journeyman. John worked as a journeyman at GVS Filtration, in Findlay Ohio.

He has been a member of the Northwest Ohio Antique Association and always loved tractors and enjoyed going to truck and tractor pulls. John was even an announcer for the Hardin County Pullers Association.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 to 6:00pm on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Kirkpatrick- Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840. A funeral service will take place at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home at 11:00am on Monday, January 9, 2023 and will be officiated by Pastor Greg Fox. The family has requested that anybody attending either visitation or funeral service please dress casually.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice.
