Joanne B. Riechman

Joanne B. (Vanderhoff) Riechman, 83, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2021, in Findlay, Ohio.Joanne was born on July 19, 1938, in Hancock County, Ohio, to the late Richard W. and Violet M. (Stahl) Vanderhoff. A member of the 1956 class from Van Buren Local Schools, she went on to become a bus driver for Van Buren. She proudly drove school bus for over a decade.Joanne was active in the family's watch and clock business, Vanderhoff's, which her parents began in 1954 and is still in business today. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, visiting with her best ladies on Wednesdays, and was a homemaker where she thrived in cooking to satisfy her sweet tooth and sneaking candy to her great-grandchildren daily. Joanne's most cherished accomplishment is her family, where she carried the matriarchal role perfectly. Her family remembers her with a feisty smile in her eye and the gentle encouragements she gave to be happy.Joanne is survived by: her sons, Terry (Janet) Beall of Findlay, Tom (Ann-Marie) Beall of McComb, Bob (Tracy Frena) Beall of Findlay, and Bill (Krissi) Beall of McComb; grandchildren, Kate (Gordon) Eyster of Shelby, Tony (Lisa) Beall of Saltillo MS, Jeff (Kristi) Beall of Findlay, Danny Beall of Hoytville, Andrew (Chentell) Beall of Toledo, Keliann Beall of Columbus, Kyle Beall of Bowling Green, Kenzi (Zach) Abell of Cincinnati, Kevin Beall of Waterville, Jerod Bush of Denver, CO, Allie Beall of Beaufort SC, and Alex Beall and Andy Beall, both of McComb; great-grandchildren, Nic and Max Eyster, Abby, Holly, Travis and Addie Beall, Avery and Paxton Beall, Adam, Matthew and Marlee Beall, and Jayden Beall; cousin Caroline (Larry) Thom of Findlay; and other extended family, including her four nieces in Georgia, and friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Riechman; sister, Jeannette Seem; and grandsons, Jimmy Beall and Austin Beall.Per Joanne's wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
