Janet Fay Puskas

Janet Fay Puskas, 74, of Findlay, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Blanchard Valley Hospital.  Janet was born on December 27, 1948, to the late George and Mary (Caprita) Puskas, in Martin’s Ferry, Ohio. She married Terry Howard Sr. and moved to Findlay, Ohio from Bridgeport. Terry preceded her in death.

Janet is survived by her four sons; Terry Alan (Jennifer) Jr., Steven Paul, Kevin Jay, Christopher Michael and stepson Tab Arthur, grandchildren; Henry, Alexis and Griffin, and her brother Michael John Puskas.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her sister Ann Marie Fox and her brother George Puskas Jr.

She attended East Foulke Ave. Church of God where she taught Children’s Sunday School and Bible School. Janet was a member and treasurer of the Christian Women’s Club and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority of Findlay, Ohio. She loved being a “stay at home” mother and baby sat for many of her working friends’ children.

Janet’s sons were her gifts from God. She was a cancer survivor from 1965 to the present. Janet was a people person and was blessed to share her love of God with many.

Janet will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held for family and friends from 11:00am to 1:00pm, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio on Saturday, February 4, 2023 and a graveside service will be at noon on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Riverview Cemetery, North 8th Street, Martin’s Ferry, Ohio.
