Jane M. Kreinbrink, 88, of Findlay, passed away at 9:08 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at her residence. She was born on January 21, 1938, in Lima, Ohio to the late Francis and Verena (Ricker) Mandery. On August 25, 1962, she married Norman A. Kreinbrink, they celebrated 63 years of marriage and he survives, in Findlay.
Also surviving are one daughter, Dr. Joanne (Michael) Menard of Forest Park, Massachusetts; and two grandchildren, Maxwell (Radhika Hira) Menard, Silver Spring, Maryland and Camila Menard (Jamie Williamson) in Woburn, Massachusetts. A twin sister, Jean (James-deceased) Hilvers, survives in Ottoville, Ohio.
Jane was a graduate of Northwestern Business College, which led to her 30-year career as the school secretary at the Adams, Washington and Whittier schools in Findlay. She believed firmly in education and assisted Norm in typing his term papers for both his graduate and undergraduate degrees. Jane proudly attended her daughter’s graduations at Ohio State, and University of Hartford, where she received an Ed.D. and her grandchildren’s college graduations, Maxwell from Georgetown and Camila from Tufts.
She was active in the community as a 50 year member of the Beta Sigma Phi, Past president of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia and the Leo Councilettes and a member golf league. Jane was also a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church where she served on the Altar Rosary Society and was a past communion distributor.
Jane and Norm enjoyed traveling and visited all 50 states as well as over 25 foreign countries. She really enjoyed cruising on rivers in Europe as well as the coast of Italy and Rome.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 617 West Main Cross Street, Findlay, Ohio 45840 with the Rev. Adam Hertzfeld, celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Michael Catholic Church, 750 Bright Road, Findlay, Ohio.
