Jan M. Farkasdi

Jan M. Farkasdi, 79, of Findlay, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 21, 2022. She was born in Kenton, Ohio, on October 18, 1942, to the late Lester and Millie Parker. She married the love of her life, Jozsef Farkasdi, on June 11, 1961. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2000.Surviving Jan are her son, Anthony (Nicole) Farkasdi of Findlay and daughter, Jennie (Jeff) Barger of Findlay; grandchildren: Heidi Richards, Jonathan (Amy) Barger, Gregory Barger, Christian (Ashley) Farkasdi and Joel Farkasdi; great grandchildren: Langston, Seth Truman, Collin, Lora, Sullivan and Ellowynn. She is also survived by her sister, Alice (Lou) Downey of Kenton, and her sister-in-law Pat Parker of Westerville.Also preceding her in death were her son Tom and daughter-in-law Shirley; grandchildren: Jessica, Tiffany, Jozsef and Noah Farkasdi, Nelson Barger and her brother Mike Parker.Visitation will be from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 and from 12:00pm-2:00pm on Thursday, January 27, 2022, with the celebration of her life immediately following at 2:00pm. All will take place at New Life Assembly of God, 3120 Norcrest St., Findlay, Ohio, 45840.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.Jan lived a life that exemplified a true servant of the Lord. Her family was her joy. Anytime she could be with her family, she was there! She was such an influential part of many people's lives and her loss will leave a void in our lives forever. We don't, however, mourn as those who have no hope. We know that we will see her again if we are followers of Christ, as she was. Her witness lives on in our lives and encourages us to continue to fight the good fight and run the race we all must run. Goodbye for now, Momв?¦в?¦.
