James Franklin Hendricks, 63, of Findlay, passed away at 1:45am on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Blanchard
Valley Hospital. Jim was born March 7, 1960 to the late Lowell F. and Sheila (Pugh) Hendricks, in Findlay,
Ohio. He married Sonja S. (Oman) Hendricks, the absolute love of his life, on June 13, 1980 in the home
of his aunt, Sonja preceded Jim in death, just two weeks and two days ago, on May 16, 2023.
Jim is survived by a son; James W. Hendricks, a grandson; Nathan Hendricks, a brother; Mark Hendricks;
two sisters, Dorotha (Dave) Young and Melissa Hendricks; and his dog, Cammie.
Following graduation from Findlay High School in 1978, Jim joined the United States National Guard and he served
our country for five years. Upon returning to Findlay, he began work at Cooper Tire and Rubber. He also
worked for Freudenburg NOK Sealing technologies and The Courier.
Visitation will be held for family and friends at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue
Findlay, Ohio, from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Monday, June 5, 2023. A funeral service will follow
immediately at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at Maple Grove
Cemetery with military rites by the Hancock County Veteran Memorial Squad.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hendricks family in care of Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral
