James Wilbur Fenbert, 66, of Findlay, also a long-time resident of Newport News, Virginia, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born to the late Wilbur J. and Alice (DeGraeve) Fenbert, on January 14, 1959, in Findlay.
James is survived by two brothers, Robert (Beulah) Fenbert of Smyrna, Tennessee, Michael Fenbert of Findlay, and a sister, Marsha (Keith) Rolston of Findlay, seven nieces and nephews, Ian, Lindsay, Amy, Mindy, Allison, Lorrie and Tiffany as well as many great nieces and nephews.
He was a 1977 graduate of Findlay High School and a 1982 graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He was employed at Rockwell International and NASA. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Findlay.
James always loved playing video games with his family and friends online. They spent many hours interacting and having fun.
Visitation for friends and family will take place from 10:00am to 12:00pm, Friday, August 1, 2025, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay. Followed by a graveside service at 12:15pm, Friday at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
