James Robert Farrell II

James Robert Farrell II, 77 of Findlay, died on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at his residence.  Jim was born on June 16, 1945 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Robert J. and Grace (Leonard) Farrell. He married Helen Young on August 14, 1965 and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, James (Barbara) Farrell of Forest, Ohio, Jason Farrell (Rhonda) of Pierson, Florida; three grandchildren, Jamie (Dustin) Rickle, Kyle Farrell (Audrey),  and Regan Farrell;  two great grandchildren, Piper and Violet Rickle; a brother, Greg Farrell of Findlay; sisters, Penny (Joe) Fruth of Alvada, Ohio,  and Melinda (Edward) Taylor of Findlay. Jim was preceded in death by a sister, Pam Barto and a brother, Jeffrey Farrell, who died in infancy.

Jim was employed at Cooper Tire and Rubber Company before his retirement. He was an avid car enthusiast. Jim also enjoyed hunting and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Visitation will be held at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2022, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Odegard officiating.  Burial will be private.

 In lieu of flowers, Memorials in Jim honor may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
