We are deeply saddened to share the loss of Jacquelyn Sue Patterson-Norton on May 13, 2026. Jackie was a kind soul and leaves behind beautiful memories that will forever remain cherished in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
Born in Bowling Green, Ohio, Jackie lived a life filled with laughter and kindness. She was known for a warm smile, unwavering generosity and gave a welcoming hug to everyone she met. She loved to laugh and especially loved to dance.
Jackie graduated from Findlay High School in 1971 and continued her studies at Ohio Northern University and the University of Findlay. Jackie worked as a legal secretary for 21 years until becoming a Title Agent for her own title agency for many, many years.
Jackie was a former member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church and Salem United Methodist Church. She enjoyed volunteering for the Blanchard Valley Hospital Auxiliary Arts Partnership and loved coaching or volunteering within the Findlay City School System. Jackie adored children and her time spent as a Head Start Volunteer Teacher was one of her fondest memories.
As we say our final farewell to Jackie, please join us for the memorial service honoring every chapter of Jackie’s life on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue in Findlay, Ohio with Rev. Benjamin Lowell officiating.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday, May 28, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Hancock County Humane Society, or Head Start of Hancock County, In Memory of Jackie Patterson.
Jackie’s warmth will always be remembered. Jackie leaves behind her three children, Jamie Long (Chris), Jessica Braaten (Nathan) and Justin Whitman (Brittany), as well as her 3 grandchildren, Tate Braaten, Kori Whitman and Kinsley Whitman. She may no longer be with us, but her spirit of love and kindness will live on in our hearts.
