Harry Fifolt Obituary


Harry E. Fifolt, 79, of Findlay, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Bridge Hospice surrounded by family. Harry was born on April 6, 1943 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late William and Opal (Rowland) Fifolt. In addition to his parents, Harry is preceded in death by his two brothers, John and Howard.
In his free time, you could find Harry reading, fishing, playing bridge, and spending time with his family. Harry was known for his storytelling and loved to tell jokes.
Harry loved to travel. He and his wife, Ann, traveled all over the United States in their motor home. They also enjoyed going on vacations and cruises with their friends and family.
Harry graduated from Muskegon High School in 1961. After graduation from Western Michigan University in 1965, he taught math at East Grand Rapids Middle School for 32 years. 
Harry married Ann Burns on August 13, 1966, and they shared their lives together for 56 years. He will be deeply missed by his wife, his two children, Mindy (Todd) Worst of Carey and Matt (Staci) Fifolt of Leeds, Alabama, and his three grandchildren, Joanna, Dana, and Sarah Grace.
A celebration of Harry's life will be held on Friday, November 4. Visitation will be at 11:00 am followed by a service at 11:30 am at First Lutheran Church: 109 East Lincoln Street, Findlay, OH  45840.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Lutheran/Community Dinners.
