Gloria G. Bame, 77, of Findlay passed away at 9:55am, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born on February 8, 1945 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Earl and Marciel (Daniels) Thompson.
She married John Robert Bame on August 12, 1961 and he survives, along with a daughter, Deborah (Gary) Dick of Findlay; daughter in law, Carrie Bame; three grandchildren, Jeremy (Lisa) Dick, Josh (Kendyl) Bame, Amber (Brad) Couchot, all of Findlay; two great grandchildren, Darren Dick and Charlotte Couchot.
Gloria is also survived by two brothers, Larry and David Thompson, both of Findlay; two sisters, LuAnn (Roger) Geise of Florida, and Patti (James) Lauck of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Bame of Findlay and three sisters-in-law, Sharon Thompson, Sally Thompson and Cathie Thompson; and a niece, Lori Amstutz.
Gloria previously worked at RCA and G&W Sugar Beet Plant. She and Bob owned and operated Bame’s Garden Center and Findlay Power and Equipment.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2022, immediately followed by the funeral service officiated by Rev. Lynn Passet at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Bishop Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer Assoc., Diabetes Assoc., and the Humane Society.
