Gladys M. (Shanklin) Miles

Gladys M. Miles, 84, of Findlay, passed away at 2:18pm on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Blanchard Valley Hospital due to complications from a fall.

She was born on September 8, 1940, in Beaver, West Virginia, to the late Walter and Ella Mae (Justice) Shanklin. Gladys married Frank A. Miles on March 5, 1960, and he survives. Also Surviving are three children, a son Tracy (Nancy) Miles, two daughters, Ronda (Bill) Bare, and Deb (Doug) Egts, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a sister Dorthy (Bob) Reynolds, Arlington, Texas. Gladys was preceded in death by an infant brother, Donald Shanklin and an infant great-granddaughter, Alyssa Miles.

Gladys was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay. The funeral service will follow immediately after the visitation at 12:00pm, with Rev. Michael Gentry officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, 1120 West Main Cross Street, Findlay, Ohio.
