Georgia E. McNamara

Georgia E. McNamara, age 68 of Findlay, passed away at 2:48 a.m. on March 30, 2021 at the Lorain Mercy Hospital in Lorain, Ohio. Georgia was born on September 11, 1952 in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late John H. and Mary Ellen (Donahue) Pressnell. She married Anthony P. McNamara, Sr. on October 24, 1970. He preceded her in death on August 26, 1993. She is survived by daughters, Mary Ellen (Devin) Spearman of Dunkirk, Ohio, Georgia (Robert) Miller of Wellington, Ohio, and sons Anthony P. (Daria) McNamara, Jr. and Blair G. McNamara, both of Findlay. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren: Andrew, Bridget, Gavin, Brock, Anthony III, Gauge, Michaela, Wyatt, Laura, Gabriella, and Jacob; one great granddaughter, Chandler; and a brother John D. (Maryann) Pressnell of Mt. Prospect, IL. She was preceded in death by sisters Judith (Richard) Schuckers and Mary Lou Nye. Georgia retired after 27 years at Kroger on Tiffin Avenue in Findlay, where she treated all her customers as she would want to be treated. Her hobbies included cross stitching Debbie Patrick houses, going to plays and concerts with her family, and spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she took every opportunity to talk about them. She especially enjoyed cooking with her grandkids. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed her cats Harley, Lola, and Dottie. Visitation for friends and family will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Ralph Rolfe officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Findlay, Ohio.
