Freda Anderson

Freda Anderson, age 94, passed away peacefully at the Heritage in Findlay, Ohio on Friday, June 25, 2021. A lifelong resident of Findlay, Freda was born in Wooster, Ohio on July 27, 1926. She married Joseph O. Anderson on January 26, 1952 and he preceded her in death. Freda worked at the Bath Boutique and Mostly Books. She enjoyed reading, watching birds and squirrels, and taking care of her grand dogs and cats. She is survived by a son, Scott (Adele) Anderson; daughters Holly (Mike) Wortman and Brooke (Dan Martinez) Arredondo; two grandchildren, Amy Stagnolia (Shane Stagnolia, Adam Flores) and Nick (Melissa) Arredondo; and nine great grandchildren: Jayden (McKenzie Stennet) Stagnolia, Avery, Kamryn and Brooklynn Stagnolia, Elijah, Silas, Nehemiah, Brielle and Enoch Arredondo. She also leaves her sister, Sherry Thurow (husband Bob deceased) of Woodstock, Illinois. Freda was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister Judy Robison.The family would like to thank The Heritage, Bridge Hospice, and Sunrise Assisted Living for their loving care. Freda will always be remembered for her knowledge from reading books and her sense of humor that always had us laughing. Keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral.
