Evelyn R. (Fellers) Langstaff

Evelyn R. Langstaff, 102, of Defiance, Ohio and formerly of Findlay, Ohio passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 17, 2023 at Kingsbury Place in Defiance, Ohio. She was born on October 27, 1920 in Toledo, Ohio to George D. and Audrey M. (Benjamin) Fellers.  She lived most of her life in Findlay, Ohio and moved to Defiance last year.

 She was married to Merlin R. Beck and raised four children. He preceded her in death in 1975. She later married Bernard L. "Bud" Langstaff on October 13, 1977 and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2003

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sally E. Thompson, and Judy Ann (Harold) Weist of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; as well as a sister, Betty Stone  and a grandson Timothy W. Beck.

She will be sadly missed by her sons, Jerry A. Beck of Clovis, New Mexico; and William J. (Sharon) Beck of Defiance, Ohio; her grandchildren; David and Tracy Tweed, Debbie and Dan Hill, Kim Morris, Ricky Beck, Sandy Carano, Dustin Weist, Denise Payne, Lani Weist, Amy Good, Sharri Gee, Jon Rohrs, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a sister Leona Burdock of Florida.

Evelyn was a member of the Hancock County Senior Center and the Ohio Star Quilt Club. She retired from the Quality Control Department at RCA in Findlay in 1980 after 26 years with the company.

Visitation will take place at 11:00am-1:00pm on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Knollcrest Gardens near Arcadia, Ohio.
