Evelyn Emberling

Evelyn Emberling, 85 of Shelbyville, Kentucky and formerly of Findlay, passed away at 9:32 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. She was born on July 9, 1936 in Summerville, Georgia to the late Walter Clyde and Lillian (Elrod) Cochran.Surviving Evelyn are her sons, Randy (Michelle) Hunter and Don (Leslie) Hunter of Shelbyville, Kentucky; daughters, Bobbi Hunter of Shelbyville; Reggie (Rick) Paugh of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Kay Tellez (Dale Cornwell) of Arlington, Ohio; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and her sister-in-law, Dale Cochran.She was preceded in death by sons, Larry Hunter and Tim Hunter; a brother, Allen Cochran; and sisters, Maxine Fletcher and Imogene White.Evelyn proudly worked for over 34 years at Kuss Corporation in Findlay where she earned countless awards. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening; and she loved classic country music. Evelyn thoroughly enjoyed baking and was well known for her homemade cookies.Visitation for family and friends will be from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840. The funeral service for Evelyn will begin at 2:00 pm following visitation at the funeral home with Pastor Ben Jennings officiating.
