E. Ione "Susie" (Cogley) Morrison

Elizabeth Ione (Susie) Morrison, 89 of Findlay, died on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 15th in her home under the care of Bridge Home Health Hospice, Findlay.

Susie was born August 5, 1934 in Rawson, to George K. and Ervena (Timmons) Cogley.  She married Thomas L. Morrison on May 2, 1954 and he preceded her in death on October 28, 2023.

Susie was a member of the first graduating class of Cory-Rawson High School in 1952.  She was the owner/operator of Susie's Monogramming for more than 50 years and the co-owner of Morrison Electric.

Susie was an avid crafter and loved sewing, knitting, crocheting and baking.  Her  grandsons and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.  

Susie is survived by one son, Michael L. (Janet) Morrison, Rawson; 3 grandsons: Preston (Allison) of Findlay; Ryan (Kimberly) of Washington Court House; and Samuel (Jamie) of Raymond.  Also surviving are 4 great grandchildren: Maxwell, Caleb, Hailey and Parker.  She is survived by one sister Martha Unruh and two sisters-in-law,  Nancy Cogley and Doris Cogley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Gemima Cogley, Helen Cogley, Betty Shafer, Daniel Cogley, Jacob Cogley, Leah Mehaffey, and David Cogley.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2023 at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Ave, Findlay, Ohio.  Susie's funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. November 27th with Rev. Gregg Fox officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
