Dolores Ruth Laube

Dolores R. Laube, 92 of Findlay, passed away at 11:30 p.m. on Monday, September 6, 2021 at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home. Dolores was born on January 17, 1929 to Clarence R. and Abbie I. (Ridenour) Schmidt in Leipsic, Ohio. She married Charles J. Laube on November 5, 1949 in Carey, Ohio and he preceded on December 19, 2020.Dolores is survived by her children, Ann M. (Ken) Syjut of Richmond, Virginia, Elizabeth K. (Everett) Burns, Jr. of Maumee, Ohio and Michael J. (Claudia) Laube of Findlay, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Kendra Copeland, Brian Syjut, Aaron Laube, Ryan Laube, Andrew Burns, Jacob Burns and Eric Burns; and nine great-grandchildren, Lily Copeland, Ben Copeland, Stella Syjut, James Laube, Nora Laube, Jay Laube, Lucas Burns, Cameron Burns and Everett Jacob Burns.She was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Schmidt and four sisters, Ghnelda Treier, Margene Inbody, Iris Courtright and Virginia Blacketer.Dolores was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Findlay and the Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the Jack and Jill CCL. Dolores was a great homemaker and loved baking from scratch for her family.Private family visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840, followed by a private funeral service at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Adam Hertzfeld will be officiating.
