Deloris Irene (Foltz) Coppes

Deloris Irene Coppes, age 97 of Findlay, passed away at 3:34 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the bridge Hospice Care Center. Deloris was born on April 27, 1925 in Henry County, Ohio to the late Harvey Franklin and Martha Mae (Boyer) Foltz. Deloris was married to Thomas R. Coppes on September 16, 1950 in a small chapel in Angola, lndiana. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage before his passing on August 29, 2006.

Deloris is survived by a daughter, Chris Cross, of Findlay, Ohio; two grandchildren: Misty (David) Bolenbaugh and William Crusa, Jr.; nine great grandchildren: Brody Bolenbaugh, Olivia Bolenbaugh, Hunter Walker, Kaylyn Hutton, Michael Hough, Maggie Mae Hough, Marleigh Crusa, Liyah Crusa and Quinn Crusa; and two great-great grandchildren Thomas and Camden Walker.

Deloris was preceded in death by ten siblings Virgil, Ernest, Delbert, Earl, Gerald, Evelyn, Doris, Lois Jean, Mary Lou, and Harold. After high school, Deloris went on to study cosmetology and worked as a beautician. Deloris and her twin sister Doris owned and operated a beauty shop in North Baltimore and later she had a salon in her home. She also enjoyed reading and baking.

It was the request of Deloris that no visitation or services be held.

Burial will take place at Knollcrest Gardens, outside of Arcadia.
