David Joseph Stein

David Joseph Stein, 78, of Findlay passed away at Blanchard Valley Hospital, on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 2:42pm. David was born May 25, 1944, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to the late Donald J. and Helen M. (Lenke) Stein. He was married to Jeannette Boerger and they later divorced. On September 4, 1982, he married Janet Ruth (Volk) and she preceded him in death on October 6, 2019.

David is survived by two daughters, Kim L. (Rodney) Stennett and Shannon M. Apple both of Findlay, two step-daughters, Cheryl (Ron) Dillinger of Tiffin and Linda Ann Burton of Yuma, Arizona. In addition, David is survived by three sisters, Nancy Marvin, Judy (Hank) Russell, and Barb (Chuck) Donegan, as well as, seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one niece and eight nephews.

David was employed by Cooper Tire and Rubber Company and retired after 35 years of service. He was a member of St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church. David enjoyed working outdoors and spending time tinkering on cars.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00pm, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date at Bechtel Cemetery, Van Buren, Ohio.
