David E. Oates Jr., 33, of Findlay died Saturday, May 22, 2021. David was born on October 5, 1987 in Fostoria, Ohio, the son of David E. Oates, Sr. and Roberta Gail Paynter. His father survives in Tennessee and his mother preceded him in death.Also surviving is a daughter, Ayra Oates, who was the light of his life; five sisters, Krista (Heath) Keckler of Ada, Ohio, Kim Martin ( Cash) of Findlay, Brittany Oates (Joe) of Forest, Ohio, Brandy (Rob) Lanagan of Findlay, Dawn Oates of Toledo, Ohio and maternal grandmother, Linda Morehart of Findlay.David had been employed as a landscaper and attended Riverdale High School.Visitation for friends and family will be held from noon until 2:00 pm. on Friday, May 28, 2021 at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio.
