Darlene Faye McBee, 73, of Findlay, passed away peacefully at The Manor at Greendale

Nursing Home, at 6:52 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. She was born to the late Robert and Laura (Lynch) Hartley  in Findlay, Ohio on October 8, 1950. Darlene married Clayton McBee on April 21, 1977 and he survives.

Besides her husband, Darlene is survived by three children, Charles Williard of Findlay, Ohio, and

Heather (Karl) Pettit, Northwood, Ohio, and William (Amber) Williard, of Walbridge, Ohio, six

grandchildren, Anthony, Brad, Tyler, Riley, Shane, Bailey and six great-grandchildren Dakota, Parker,

Ava, Skyler, Maddi and Serenity and one great-grandchild expected in July.

Darlene is also survived by three brothers, Larry (Nancy) Hartley, Robert Hartley, and Tommy Hartley all

of Findlay, Ohio and two sisters, Susie Ritter of Findlay, Ohio and Nancy (Donald) Stone of Alabama.

She was a graduate of Liberty-Benton High School and retired from Crushproof Tubing Company of

McComb, Ohio, as a line leader. After retiring she worked at the Quality Inn in Findlay, Ohio.

Darlene was an avid reader, sometimes reading as much as one book per day. She loved swimming and

being in the sun and was a great softball catcher. Most of all she loved spending time with her

grandchildren.

Visitation will be held for two hours from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, Saturday, April 20, 2024, followed by a memorial service, officiated by Rev. James Klausing at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. Burial will be private.
